Enhancement plans
Ecological Mitigation and Enhancement Plans or similar documents such as Ecological Design Strategies (EDS) are a common planning condition following initial approval of a scheme. The purpose of these documents are to clearly outline of the ecological mitigation measures and enhancements the development will commit to as part of the construction process and the design of the scheme.
We have extensive experience in producing these documents, working in collaboration with the landscape architect to ensure these provisions complement the design of the scheme. We can provide specifications for bird & bat boxes, including the optimal aspects and heights, and recommended models. We can either assist the architect in producing a visual plan of the enhancements or we can provide mapping and plans, designs and creation mechanisms, to support an enhancement strategy.
If you require more information on these assessment or further ecological consultancy, please call us or email us.
